Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is a statutory body. It comes under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. To claim Provident Fund, a request has to be raised to EPFO. Step 4: : Enter the state where your PF office is based in. From the dropdown menu now select the PF office. Provide the establishment’s code and your Provident Fund account number.
Step 5: Click ‘Submit’ and get the status of your PF claim, promptly.
You will receive an SMS alert on a mobile number linked to the account. The alert will be sent on receipt of the claim application, PPF balance check number, and on the transfer of funds to your bank account. The SMS includes your account number and the total PPF balance check.

But you have to give a missed call from your registered mobile number. Once you hear a ring, the call will get disconnected on its own. After this, you will receive the EPF claim status and details through an SMS.
Remember that to avail of this facility, your KYC should be completed with UAN. Also, this facility is for those who already have an activated mobile number on the unified portal of UAN. The KYC procedure will require you to link Aadhaar and PAN numbers with your bank account number.
Another offline way to check the EPF status is by sending an SMS to 7738299899 through your registered mobile number with EPFO. On doing so, you will see the details of the claim status. Also, in doing so, you will see the details of the claim status. Also, you will get to know the balance details with the last PF contribution.
