- Interest is calculated on a daily balance basis. For the deposit amount in an account of more than Rs. 5 crores, check with the bank for the applicable rate.
- For balances more than Rs. 3 crores and up to Rs. 5 crores, the rate of interest is 6.50% per annum.
- The rate is 6.50% for a balance over Rs. 10 lakhs and up to Rs. 3 crores.
- The interest rate is 6.00% for a balance over Rs. 1 lakh and up to Rs. 10 lakhs.
- The rate is 4.75% for a balance up to Rs. 1 lakh.
- These rates apply on a lump-sum balance over Rs. 1 lakh according to the mentioned slabs.
