How to Check CIBIL Score?
You can check your credit score online. Checking your credit rating once in a year will help you understand your credit history and improve upon the score by keeping track of your financial journey. It is best to acquire your credit score/report personally than via a financial institute or bank, as too many enquiries through lenders and bank can affect your credit score negatively.
When applying for credit score online, it takes just a nominal fee and few minutes to get hold of your detailed and legit credit report.
- Make a request for your credit report at CIBIL's official website, and follow the easy procedure listed there.
- Fill an online application form. You will have to provide personal details such as your date of birth, name, phone number, identity and income proof, address, phone number etc.
- Then you will be prompted to make a fee payment via (normally between 400 and 500 rupees), net banking, debit or credit card.
- Once you get done with payment, then you need to submit some authentication details. After 24 hours or within, you will receive your CIBIL score and report via email.
